Since groundhog Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow last week, we should all be preparing in the safest way possible for the cold winter over the next few weeks.
Jokes aside, winter weather can create hazards such as slippery roads/surfaces, strong winds, and of course low temperatures, among other unsafe conditions. Those hazards can create issues like illnesses, injuries and fatalities. OSHA has provided a lot of information regarding safety during Winter Weather on the website here. We recommend brushing up on these precautions and sharing documents with those that may need them!
