FIRST AID/CPR/AED/Bloodborne Pathogens

Training Course OVERVIEW: RMS Safety offers a training program that will certify employees in Adult First-Aid, CPR & AED according to the National Safety Council protocol.  In addition, students will be trained in Bloodborne Pathogens as required by OSHA.  All students will receive a certification through National Safety Council that is valid for 2-years for FA/CPR/AED and a certificate from RMS Safety for bloodborne pathogens. HIGHLIGHTS:
    • Experienced Trainer  (Degreed safety professional previously employed by Illinois Power Company & Driver Solutions and with RMS for 10+years)
    • Comprehensive Content  (Adult First-Aid, Adult CPR, AED & Bloodborne Pathogens)
    • Hands-On Exercises  (All students will practice applying various first-aid techniques on their classmates and perform CPR/AED on an adult sized actor)

Confined Space Competent Person

CONFINED SPACE ENTRY

Training Course OVERVIEW RMS has developed a “Confined Space Competent Person” training program that will provide students with a broad understanding of the 1910 and 1926 standards relative to Confined Space. This review will not only cover the elements of each standard, but will also incorporate applicable Letters of Interpretation and Frequently Asked Questions published by OSHA. In addition to detailed knowledge of OSHA’s Confined Space requirements, students will also gain practical guidance for the use of confined space equipment, lessons learned from past incidents and experiences, and tips for planning a successful rescue. At the conclusion of our classroom instruction, all students will participate in a mock entry drill that will be facilitated using our “Confined Space Simulator”. They will also complete a written test to help employers gauge the knowledge & retention of their employees.
